Music is fleeting, existing only in moments, yet it deeply moves us in ways that physical objects often cannot. Every song has an ending, but this project seeks to transform music’s ephemeral nature into lasting, wearable forms, allowing it to be seen, touched, and carried. Inspired by Orfeo's story, it explores themes of loss and the struggle to overcome fate, preserving the shapes and emotions of music in a tangible, enduring way.
This piece is the outcome of the first experimental phase of my ongoing project 'Unseen - Unheard - Orfeo' which explores the musical structure, emotional depth, and narrative of Gluck’s 1762 opera 'Orfeo ed Euridice' as foundational elements in the design process. While the music serves as the primary inspiration, the story, symbols, and the emotional journey of Orfeo and Euridice are fundamental.
