Odyssey Collection - Penelope

This project is a continuation of my earlier creation, the bracelet Méduse, which was inspired by the elegant shapes of a jellyfish. The challenge was to design a series of jewellery that could be easily and efficiently reproduced by using the laser cutter. My starting point was to modify the cutting pattern of Méduse, which resulted in a new, interesting 3D effect.
Although the jellyfish still served as inspiration, I broadened my creative horizons to the graceful shapes of sea anemones and shells. To stay true to the sea theme, I chose three harmonising colours: blue, green and purple. These colours are combined in various ways, so each piece still retains a unique look.
The collection consists of two different types of rings, "Ino" and "Nausicaa", and the "Penelope" necklace, which is shown here.
