Dear Enzo

The focal point of this project centered around the Italian artist and furniture designer, Enzo Mari. Informed by his modernist design principles and particularly intrigued by his diverse puzzle creations, I endeavored to encapsulate his essence through a creation characterized by minimalistic elements, clean lines, and shapes reminiscent of his color-coded paper designs.

Emphasizing a cohesive design concept, the extruding shapes on the upper section of the piece are mirrored in corresponding cutouts on the lower section, creating a harmonious interplay as if the elements could seamlessly interlock, akin to a puzzle. This deliberate design choice not only echoes Mari's penchant for puzzles but also underscores the significance of the often-overlooked lower section of the ring—a detail that is equally vital in contributing to the overall aesthetic integrity of the piece.
